FAQ
Our practice takes a holistic mental health approach using a range of comprehensive telehealth services, including psychotherapy, psychopharmacology, and lifestyle medicine to provide the highest quality care for children and adults of all ages.
Our telehealth platform is secure and HIPPA compliant. The teleconferencing software encrypts all forms of data, including video and audio. Additionally, any notes or medical records created for your care are encrypted and protected on a HIPPA-compliant secure platform.
Our care team does not address medical emergencies via telehealth. If you or your child is experiencing a medical emergency, is considering harming themselves or others, or is otherwise in imminent danger, you should dial 9-1-1 and/or go to the nearest emergency room.
At this time, we are in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield. If you have another insurance plan that offers out-of-network benefits, we are happy to provide all necessary billing information required for reimbursement.
You are financially responsible for the cost of the mental health services provided to you or your dependent(s) and for any portion of the fees not reimbursed or covered by your health insurance, including late cancellations and missed appointments. Also, please note that you may be responsible for copays and any deductibles.
If you have questions about your coverage or financial responsibility, please contact your plan administrator directly.
Private pay pricing varies by appointment type. Most common are:
- New/initial patient appointment, 50 minutes: $275 USD
- Returning patient appointment, 50 minutes: $250 USD
- Returning patient appointment, 30 minutes: $150 USD
Patients are required to have a credit card on file with our secure third-party billing platform. Your card will be charged for the balance due either at the time of service or after your health insurance confirms a patient responsibility portion.
It’s our policy to collect credit card (or Health Savings Accounts and Flex Spending Accounts card) information prior to your appointment so that we can simplify the payment process upon completion of your appointment, especially with telehealth appointments, where traditional “check-out” process doesn't occur. We appreciate your cooperation with this policy.
We understand you may have to reschedule or cancel an appointment from time to time. We ask that you notify us at least 24 business hours in advance of your scheduled appointment. Cancellations and reschedule requests with shorter notice may be billed at up to the full private-pay rate.
